Well we’ve all had our share of couple fights, for various reasons; some end peacefully, but in most cases the outcome is not good at all. So why not avoid these fights, when possible? The most concentrated way of putting this is: speak your mind but listen to his/her point of view too and release the negative energy without doing things you will most definetly regret afterwards. But since things are often much harder, I’m gonna try and put this in a simpler and detailed way. (more…)

When preparing an argumentation, you have to keep in mind some some very important points. Weather it’s a speech, an written essay or you’re simply thinking to discuss with your parents or friends and to sustain a point of view, respect the following rules and you’ll have more chances to be successful. Sure, for oral presentation is better to keep in mind what I’ve written here.
But first of all, what is an argumentation? An argumentation is a text or a speech that sustains an idea, that takes sides for something. So the first thing you have to do is to identify the idea you want to affirm. That may seem redundant but it’s a very important step. Write down the main idea and then when you’re building the argument verify if your arguments links with that idea.
Chinese medicine is an ancient yet very popular form of medicine, which bases treatment on the fact that illness is caused by the lack of harmony between the body and the spirit. According to its principles, a balance between the two can only be obtained through a balanced alimentation, which includes the 4 tastes (bitter, sour, salt, sweet) and spicy foods. Now I don’t know whether Chinese medicine is effective or not, but the principles it tends to apply are definetly a good example to follow.
Bitter

Most bitter foods or drinks cause elimination of liquids, which helps prevent liquid accumulations. Salad, for example calms the inside of your body and regulates the body temperature. It’s also very good against stress, insomnia and neurosis. But not everything that’s bitter is good; if you drink too much coffee, for example, you could suffer from heart conditions and your skin could become very unhealthy and inestetic.
Sour

Sour foods have a positive influence on the physical energy and they also have a soothing action, working against anger, agitation and anxiety. This kind of foods includes grain, some fruits, some types of cheese, fruit tea and even beer. Great for finding your balance.
Salt
Usually, we consume way more salt than we need. The results is that the organs and blood vessels lose a lot of liquid which instead accumulates in the tissue. In order to prevent this, one should eat less salt, because it also damages the heart. Instead of using it, try using some green veggies instead.
Spicy
Modern times are exhausting for almost everybody. Whenever you feel that you’re just drained of energy, or that you’re cold inside or outside, it’s very good to eat some spicy foods. But not too many though, that wouldn’t be good at all. Recommended spices are white and black pepper, some pimento, ginger, onion or garlic.
Sweet
Out of sweet fods, organs extract the energy they need to function without any problems; recent studies have pointed out these advantages. But don’t think that eating cake or chocolate all day is something good! By the process of obtaining it, sugar loses its capacity to produce vital energy. But if you were to eat fruits, nuts, veggies, than the situation would be very different. Fructose helps organism fight diseases and escape from stress.
So what should one eat, in order to have a balanced diet?

If your menu has everyone of these things, you’ll definetly be healthier, without doing anything. If it doesn’t have any of these, then your organism will not be able to function properly. Keep in mind that everything you do reflects upon you.

It doesn’t seem so difficult to offer o present to someone, it may even seem like it’s a piece of cake. Even though, if you want to see the person you are giving the present to smiling there are some simple rules to follow.

If your morning is great, you have a very good chance your whole day is gonna be great. You can enter that (rare) state when almost nothing can upset you, and you just feel great, and you can get a health boost too. Every morning can be just great, if you just set up some easy non time consuming goals for yourself. These have to be done regularly, but make sure they don’t become a drag! They shouldn’t, but if you have a strange schedule, the effect may not be the same. Keep in mind that you shouldn’t fall into the trap of monotony; when you feel it’s setting in, just do things a bit differently.These things are not hard to do, just something you can do with a minimum of time and effort. As strange as it would sound, if you want to have a good morning, you have to start things at night. Don’t eat (especially fat foods) for 3-4 hours before you sleeping time; and try to go to bet at a decent hour, so you can get enough sleep for the next day. Now, when you get up, the first thing you should do is wash your teeth and face. Make this become almost a reflex, something you do without thinking.
Then, if you have the time (even 10 minutes would do), try to exercise. Drink some water, and then go for a little run, do some push ups, yoga, or just meditate. Mental exercise is just as important as physical exercise, so reading something would be a very good idea. Swimming is also a great thing to do, but not something which is very easy for everybody. After that you definetly need to have breakfast; keep in mind that it’s the most important meal of the day.
After you’ve eaten, take a shower and by the time you’ve finished it you should feel very refreshed. Bagging your lunch before going to work or school is a good idea, because it saves you time, money, and it’s healthier than eating at a restaurant or fast food. Now those things are definetly not too hard to do, it’s just up to you to make it happen. Do something good for yourself!

In case you’re not Bill Gates or something, you’ve felt at some moment in your life that you would have been better if you had some extra cash. The thing is that problem is always hard to solve, but there are still some things you can do which can save you money without causing you any trouble; in fact, as you will see, some of these tricks are even helpful aside from the fact that they save you money!
The thing you can do which could save you the most money (but it’s pretty damn hard to achieve) is quitting some vices. If you’re a smoker, just make the math and find out how much you spend on cigarettes a week; that would be the first step, and of course you know the other health benefits which come from quitting smoking. But that can be quite a drag, so if you’re not down with quitting smoking, stay calm. There are still so many things you can do. Another easy and healthy thing you can do which saves you money is bagging your lunch and bringing it to work; instead of going to a fast food or restaurant, make your own sandwhich. It shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes, and it saves you money, and it’s healthier.
Another thing which has been talked about a whole lot is turning off the appliances you are not using. Saving energy and water is really easy. This does not only save you money, but also helps the environment and it’s basically just a click away. Also, try not to drive when you don’t necessarily need it; this is also good for the environment and you can drink as many beers as you want (or can).
Other things you can do include putting your spare change in a jar instead of losing it behind the couch or somewhere, buy only things you know you’re gonna need, and if you’re buying things such as shampoo, soap, and that kind of stuff, buy more, because that also helps you save money. But I have to underline the fact that getting rid of cigarettes is definetly the best thing here, and if you can do that, you’ve shot a whole bunch of rabbits with one shot. So by doing those things, you can save up to 50-100$ a week, and even more in some cases! Not quite the biggest amount of cash in the world, 100$ is a 100$.
One of Murphy’s laws says that anything good in life is either illegal, immoral, or fattening. Doing what you enjoy most is often not so good for your health, physically or spiritually, so here are some simple rules to improve your life. I think that you have already realized that it’s not so simple to change your habits. After each disappointment you keep saying - I gonna change and that won’t happen again, but after a while your determination isn’t so strong.
Maybe it will sound like a cliché, but you have to change your life by doing very small steps. I’ll talk now about eating habits and I promise to continue this series about healthy habits.
Be very careful at what you’re eating. Sure that fast food is cheap and tasty, but you have to take into consideration its effects on your health. To continue with this idea, pay attention to sweets too. Drinking alcohol is fun, but be sure you know your limits and don’t make any abuses.
When thinking at meals, keep in mind that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You need energy for all your plans so have some cereals, milk and maybe some fruit. If you’re hungry between meals, you can have another fruit or some biscuits. Try not to eat so much in the evening - you’ll sleep better.
Then, it’s very important to have your meals at certain hours and to make a rule out of this. By doing that, you can organize your time better and follow a schedule that keeps you healthy.
In order to reduce drastically your visits to the hospital, consume every day 5-10 fruits or vegetables. Also don’t forget the milk and cereals, potatoes or bread for fibers and the meat for proteins. Once or twice a week have fish to keep your brain active.
Now you know the basic rules for a good nutrition, but how can you start applying them? At first, try to arrange proper hours for meals - take into consideration what tasks you have to do during the day and of course, the hours when you’re hungry. Than think - what you like to eat and what you don’t. Could you replace some dishes with other ones which are healthier? Sure you can! If you want something sweet, you can have a peach or a banana. That doesn’t mean that you have to forget about chocolate, just consume it less often.
Don’t over react. The most important thing is to find your balance. Don’t impose it to yourself, just find it. You know you have it, it’s there, inside you.

We all like parties and maybe the most unforgettable moments are from a party. This is when we allow ourselves to act however we want to and to have the best time ever. A party can also improve one’s social life, but for that it has to be a great party.
It’s been said that the best parties aren’t the planned ones but still many details should be handled before the party so that everything will work perfectly…or at least very well.
Before starting it’s better to take a few friends with you so that everything will work faster. It is also better to put money together for the party because it’s quite hard to pay everything on your own. Assure that your friends will also help you with the cleaning later if necessary because you don’t want to find yourself alone and surrounded by a terrible mess.
Maybe the most important issue to solve is the location. Once you’ve found it, you can consider half of your problems solved. So it’s better to ask your friends about a solution if you can’t organize the party at your place. There should be enough room for all your guests and a large room where they could dance and for other activities. It doesn’t have to be a palace, it just has to offer you the facilities you need.
Then, it’s all about planning and making lists. Decide what to buy, what should everyone bring, and who is in charge of the sound system if necessary. Make the guests list so that you won’t have surprises. Try to avoid trouble-makers so that everyone will have a good time.
It is better to buy most of the things you need a day before the party. Use your list in order not to forget something because it can be quite frustrating to discover that at home. Shop from a supermarket. There are many more products to choose from and better prices. If you don’t have a car, ask a friend to help you. Buy some cleaning products too.
When you have everything you need it is time to arrange everything. Decorate and put the snacks and the drinks in a easy to reach place. Take away all the valuable and fragile things before the party because you can never know. Assure that the place is clean before the party so that the guests will have a good impression.
When the time has come for the guests to come assure that they feel welcome and try to be the best host they’ve seen. Be yourself, it is not necessary to exaggerate. After all, it’s just a party! Try to have more kinds of music so that everyone will be pleased If you have any unusual ideas about a party don’t be afraid to try them…as long as they are not out of normality… When everyone has arrived it’s up to you to have the best party ever!
You certainly don’t need more advice about what to do next…so have fun and remember that her will be a lot more to come!

Whether you like it or not, it is very probable that during your life you’ll have to speak in front of a crowd. This thought is kinda creepy and I’ll give you some pieces of advice to improve your performance and overcome the natural but useless fear of speaking in public..
A common belief is that imagining your auditorium naked helps. I’ll speak here about an alternative to this – gaining some self trust. The fear of speaking in public has two major causes – you do this for the first time, the fear of unknown and you depend on public’s reactions; you’re exposed. Less than a week ago I was packing my bags when it occurred to me that I hear really often “Oh, I forgot to put it in my bag”, where it can be toothbrush, favorite sweater, documents, head. So here are some steps you can follow to reduce the risk to let something behind:
First of all, think at the purpose you’re packing – pleasure or businessJ. It’s better to put first the things you need most, the object of the trip. This would be the first step.
Then the money and the papers you need –IDs and others, if you need. It’s good to have 2-3 pens and some unwritten paper too.
The third step is to put the technology – battery and phone chargers, notebook, mp3-player, i-pod or what you think you’ll need.
Very important are the hygiene products – toothbrush, toothpaste, towel(s), shampoo, shower gel, cosmetics, deodorant. If you think you’d need it, now’s the moment to add some drugs(medicines).
Then you just have to put your clothes too and it’s all ready. Put some comfortable old shoes, the new ones are usually uncomfortable. I recommend to have 2 bags, one with important and valorous things that you’ll probably use until you’ll get to the destination and another with … everything else.
